Hotel Shangri-La in Santa Monica shows off their new
$35 million renovation in Season 14 of ABC's "The Bachelor"
On January 11, 2010, after a $35 million two year renovation
the Hotel Shangri-La will have her first feature role during the
second episode on season 14 of "The Bachelor" on ABC.
The new season's bachelor Jake Pavleka, a commercial pilot,
finds himself with six of the ladies at the Hotel for a group date.
The art deco hotel is the backdrop as Jake awaits the contestants'
arrival by limo.

An ode to the ancient culture of food and family in Italy, - and the magical bonding power of a shared meal - MID-AUGUST LUNCH is a sprightly comedy about a charismatic bon vivant who relinquishes his independence to care for his beloved aging mother. A hit with audiences at the New Directors/New Films series at MoMA in New York and winner of the Venice Film Festival prize for Best First Italian Film, MID-AUGUST LUNCH will open in Los Angeles at Laemmle Theaters (Sunset 5, Town Center and Playhouse 7) on April 9. MIAMI MEDICAL
MIAMI MEDICAL is about a team of expert surgeons who thrive on the
adrenaline rush of working at one of the premiere trauma facilities in
the country while drawing upon their wit and irreverence to survive on
the edge. As part of the Alpha Team at one of the top trauma
hospitals, these professionals exclusively treat patients with life
threatening injuries.
Dr. Matthew Proctor is new to the trauma team,
after leaving a lucrative private practice following his return from a
tour of duty in a MASH unit during the first Gulf War. Dr. Eva
Zambrano is a workaholic surgeon who wishes she had more time for
a personal life. Dr. Christopher Deleo, "Dr. C.," is a playboy
who thrives on the high-stakes of trauma medicine and is, by his own
