More races, stunts, contests and entertainment acts join an already stacked lineup of events at the Best Party Anywhere®

The Sturgis Buffalo Chip has added even more events for rally-goers seeking the ultimate Sturgis experience. Brand-new events along with yearly staples will be joining the impressive Buffalo Chip lineup for 2020 including white-knuckle races, exhilarating stunt shows and wild contests. Smash Mouth

Sunday, Aug. 9

One of the most recognizable names of the ’90’s and early 2000s, Smash Mouth will be bringing their feel-good hit songs to the Wolfman Jack Main Stage Sunday, Aug. 9. Smash Mouth saw major success with hits like “Allstar,” “I’m a Believer,” “Walkin on the Sun” and more, and Smash Mouth music has been featured in several major Hollywood films.

Quiet Riot

Friday, Aug. 14

’80s rock gods Quiet Riot will bring their brand of “Metal Health” to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip for an evening of Sunset Strip metal. Attendees will bang their heads along to Quiet Riot’s soaring melodies and potent power chords on the final Friday of the Sturgis Rally.

Drowning Pool

Wednesday, Aug. 12

Bodies will hit the floor on Wednesday, Aug. 12 when metal titans Drowning Pool take the Wolfman Jack Main Stage at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. Aggressive, powerful and energizing, the music of Drowning Pool will pump-up attendees to the show for days following the event.

The Guess Who

Saturday, Aug. 8

This Canadian quintet has been rocking audiences worldwide since their formation in the late ’60s. The Guess Who will bringing their classic hit songs, along with some new offerings, to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip the first Saturday of the Rally.

Lit

Wednesday, Aug. 12

As one of the preeminent bands to come out of the post-grunge era, Lit has brought their high-octane, energetic performances to the world non-stop since the early 2000s. Lit will be making a stop at the Buffalo Chip on Aug. 12 to bring hits like “My Own Worst Enemy,” “Miserable,” and more to the Rally masses.

Saving Abel

Monday, Aug. 10

With hits like “Addicted,” “18 Days” and “New Tattoo” Saving Abel broke into mainstream rock success and are still touring hard. These Mississippi-based rockers will bring their melodic brand of modern rock to the Buffalo Chip Main Stage on Aug. 10.

The BlueFrog Band

Thursday, Aug. 13

Fronted by Patrick “BlueFrog” Ellis, a former U.S. Navy Seal Master Chief, The BlueFrog Band is a tribute to the music which made America great like Rock and Roll, Swing, Blues, Rock-a-Billy and much more. They take the Wolfman Jack Stage on Thursday, Aug. 13.

Buffalo Chip Super TT Xtreem Flat Track

Tuesday, Aug. 11 and Thursday, Aug. 13

New for 2020 is the freshest and fastest growing flat track racing circuit: Xtreem Flat Track. Flat Track racing fans can catch the Buffalo Chip Super TT Xtreem Flat Track races not just once, but twice throughout the rally on Aug. 11 and Aug. 13 at the Buffalo Chip Powersports Complex. Renegades Off-Road Races

Friday, Aug. 7 and Saturday, Aug. 8

The Renegades Racing Series invades Sturgis for the most exciting off-road racing at the 80th Sturgis Rally. For two days in a row, Renegade Off-Road Races will bring racing fans the thrill of pedal-to-the-metal off-road UTV racing Aug. 7 and 8 at the Buffalo Chip PowerSports Complex. Admission passes for this separately ticketed event will be available at the gate. Passes are $10 each or $5 for those with a Buffalo Chip wristband.

Bell Brawl at the Buffalo

Sunday, Aug. 9

Bell Brawl returns to the Buffalo Chip for 2020 for an adrenaline-pumping, awe-inspiring show. Attendees to this free event will get to see some of the wildest stunts ever attempted on big V-Twin motorcycles that literally need to be seen to be believed. These masterful riders will be throwing down in front of celebrity judges and stunned onlookers at the Buffalo Chip Crossroads Aug. 9.

Street Drag Invitational with Crazy John

Tuesday, Aug. 11

The sights, sounds, and smells of motorcycles thundering by at speeds up to 120 mph will be sure to raise the neck hair of all witnessing the event. The Buffalo Chip Street Drag Invitational pairs the untamed spirit of biker mayhem that was commonplace in Sturgis City Park during the ‘70s with the jaw-dropping power leading the motorcycling industry today.

Gambler 500 Hooptie X

Sunday Aug. 9

This Buffalo Chip fan favorite returns on Aug. 9 to prove that the Sturgis Rally is about more than just bikes. The Gambler 500 boys are inviting anyone to bring out their favorite rust bucket (or fancy car they are willing to wreck) and tear up some dirt with a bunch of racers who value fun over rules.

Fan Fest

Wednesday, Aug. 12

A gathering of friends old and new, Fan Fest brings everyone together for an exciting party at the CrossRoads with ice-cold drinks, exciting entertainment, gorgeous girls, generous giveaways and obnoxious games. Fan Fest features non-stop entertainment with performances by the Flaunt Girls and hilarious contests and games including the Beer Belly Contest, Cherry Pie Eating Contest, Stud Contest, Mullet Madness and more.

Old School Rodeo Games Presented by Sasha’s Cycles of Sturgis

An afternoon of great times, great prizes and an old-fashioned, frontier rodeo feel will take over Camp Zero on Monday, Aug. 10. Contestants will compete in games testing their skills in the saddle of their iron horse, while having way too much fun doing it.

Go Fast Don’t Die Anarchy Games

Following the Sportster Showdown on Tuesday, Go Fast Don’t Die present Anarchy Games at Camp Zero. These wild and entertaining games include a keg roll, slow race and more. All that is needed is a bike and a yearning for a good time.

Gambler 500 Mini Bike Endurocross

Monday Aug. 10

The roar of mini bikes will take over on Aug. 10 for a wild and entertaining racing experience. The Gambler 500 boys will be braving rocks, mud and obstacles on incredible Coleman mini bikes at this free event.

Gambler 500 Mini Bike Ovals Races

Daily at 1 p.m.

New for 2020 is the Gambler 500 Mini Bike Ovals Races held daily at 1 p.m. at the CrossRoads. Open to all, anyone with the desire to race can show up with their mini, sign a waiver, and start turning left over and over.

J&P Hooligan Hill Climb and Hare Scramble Featuring Patrick Garvin of J&P Cycles

Tuesday, Aug. 12

The J&P Hooligan Hill Climb is for those feeling the need to point a street bike straight up a hill meant to bring people down. This event is rumored to be the most fun a person can have on two wheels.

GoPowersports Barrell Races

Daily at 5 p.m.

Held daily at the Camp Zero, the Mini Bike TT Barrel Races are open to anyone with a drive for fun and a need for smiles. Bikes will be provided for those without, courtesy of Coleman Powersports, Snap Fabrications and Camp Zero. Killer prizes will be offered by GoPowersports and Sena.

Gambler 500 Mini Bike Showdown Drags

Wednesday, Aug. 12

The Gambler 500 Mini Bike Showdown Drags will showcase just how fast a mini bike can go down a drag strip filled with obstacles in the middle of the amphitheater. All are invited to attend this exciting head-to-head racing event on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Mullet Madness

Wednesday, Aug. 12

The first ever Mullet Madness mullet competition is for those with the philosophy (and hair style) of “business in the front, party in the back.” Cash prizes go to the best mullets in Sturgis.

Wall of Beer Stunt

Tuesday, Aug. 11

Watch as local Unsung Zero threatens life and limb to savagely open beers for a crowd of onlookers by crashing into 80 6 packs of beer in honor of the 80th Sturgis anniversary.
