Metallica Announced As ‘Fortnite Festival’ Headliner

“Fortnite” announced the band Metallica will play a concert called “Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury” in the game’s Fortnite Festival season four on June 22 and June 23.

The Fortnite Festival allows players to virtually attend concerts of artists who are also animated, and they also have the ability to play the artists’ music using different instruments on either the Main Stage or Jam Stage.

The band will also be a part of the game’s new Battle Stage, which allows 16 players to compete against each other in a four-song set, according to the announcement.

Metallica will perform three separate times on both dates: 2 p.m. EDT, 5 p.m. EDT and 11 p.m. EDT on June 22, and 10 a.m. EDT, 2 p.m. EDT and 5 p.m. EDT on June 23.
